County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Tuesday:

• Donnie Glenn Hargrove, 23, of New Garden Road, Elkmont, warrant for domestic violence (strangulation or suffocation — assault)

• Jody Ray McElyea, 42, of Witty Mill Road, Elkmont, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• Christopher Wayne Marshall, 41, of Fifth Avenue, Athens, probation violation on previous convictions of two counts negotiating with a non-negotiable worthless instrument

• Hannah Rose Herriott, 31, of Sallie Lane, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (assault) and third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported no thefts Tuesday.

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:

• Jessica Diane Chambers, 36, of Easter Ferry Road, Lester, fourth-degree theft of property

• Torn Reign McKelvy, 25, of Lucas Ferry Road, Athens, second-degree possession of marijuana

• Steven Matthew McKelvey, 22, of Highland Drive, Athens, DUI (controlled substances)

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:

• Damage valued at $1,200 to material for shed and a tarp on May 20, 13000 block Glendorch Lane

• Semiautomatic 9 mm Taurus PT 111 valued at $264.07 stolen May 18, 2100 block Aretha Street

• iPhone 6S cell phone valued at $100 stolen between May 2 and 21, 1000 block U.S. 72 East
