Limestone Superintendent Sisk named finalist for position in West Virginia

The Mineral County Board of Education in West Virginia has announced Limestone County Schools Superintendent Tom Sisk as one of four finalists for the county’s superintendent position.

According to a report in the Cumberland Times-News, The News Courier’s sister paper, the finalists were revealed Thursday morning.

The other three candidates are Jason Eitner, proprietor of Eitner Education of New Jersey; David Banks, assistant superintendent of Berkeley County Schools in West Virginia; and Troy Ravenscroft, assistant superintendent of Grant County Schools in West Virginia.

Community interviews were scheduled for 4 p.m. local time Friday, with board interviews to follow at 5 p.m. local time. Sisk was set to appear via Skype, while the other appeared in person.

Board members are expected to pick one of the four Tuesday.
