County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Thursday:

• Avery Nathaniel Wimbs, 20, of 301 County Road 1174, Cullman, illegal possession of prescription drugs and obstructing governmental operations

• Pamela Christine Lynch, 54, of 7375 U.S. 72 West, Madison, DUI (alcohol)

• Isaac Newton Thockmorton, 44, of 7375 U.S. 72 West, Madison, public intoxication

• Kasie Danielle Dugger, 28, of 27824 Thach Road, Athens, warrant for drug trafficking

• Trace Austin Bradford, 21, of 100 E. Sanderfer Road, Athens, bond revoked on previous charges of possession of controlled substance, first-degree criminal mischief and second-degree arson

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Thursday:

• ATHENS — Wallet and contents valued at $50 stolen from a vehicle May 8, 8700 block Cowford Road

• ATHENS — Three radiators valued at $50 and four rotors valued at $10 stolen May 7, 24000 block U.S. 72

• ATHENS — 172 windows valued at $24,400 stolen between April 24 and May 4, unknown block Sugar Creek Road

• ATHENS — Medications valued at $22.20 stolen between April 17 and 24, 19000 block Sewell Road

• ELKMONT — Dell laptop valued at $250, Dell computer valued at $350, Nintendo gaming system and games valued at $150, Xbox 360 gaming system valued at $400 and PlayStation 2 gaming system and games valued at $300 stolen between May 1 and 3, 27000 block Bethel Road

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Thursday:

• Amber Renee Reece, 27, unknown block Kelly Lane, Tanner, fourth-degree theft of property

• James Eric Temple, 51, of 17049 Turner St., Athens, unlawful possession of a controlled substance

• John Michael Howell, 36, of 509 N. Houston St., Athens, fourth-degree theft of property

• Jeffery Adam Vanzandt, 40, 604 Garrett Drive, Athens, DUI (alcohol)

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Thursday:

• .410-caliber shotgun valued at $300, Browning rifle valued at $660, jar of change valued at $200 and Nikon Monarch 3x12x42 rifle scope valued at $440 stolen May 7, 700 block Cloverdale Court
