• Spring revival. Madison Street Baptist Church, 901 N. Madison St., Athens, will have a homecoming and spring revival March 30-April 3. A concert by The Wylers on Wheels will be 6 p.m. Saturday, March 30, with revival services at 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, March 31, and 7 p.m. Monday, April 1 through Wednesday, April 3.
• Spring revival. St. Mark Primitive Baptist Church will host a spring revival series April 1–3 at the church, 740 W. Sanderfer Road, Athens. Here are the speakers and times: Otis C. Neloms, First Missionary Baptist Church of Courtland, 7 p.m. Monday; Brandon Nance, Little Flock P.B. Church of Gurley, 7 p.m. Tuesday; and R.E. Pearl Sr., Pleasant Grove M.B. Church of Courtland, 7 p.m. Wednesday. Host pastor is Kenneth Owens.
• Spring giveaway fellowship. Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 14204 Lucas Ferry Road, Athens, will give away new and gently used clothing, jewelry, shoes, art, etc. from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, April 6.
• Spiritual retreat. Hindu Cultural Center of North Alabama will host a spiritual retreat April 6 and 7 at 14800 Vishnu Way, Harvest. Swami Yogatmanandaji Maharaj of Vedanta Society, Providence, Rhode Island, will lead. Topics include Dharma and the central theme of Bhagabat Gita. More information: 256-771-7730.
• Easter service. Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 14204 Lucas Ferry Road, Athens, will host an Easter sunrise service at 6 a.m. Sunday, April 21. An Easter program will be held at the church beginning at 10 a.m.
• Men’s conference. Round Island Creek Missionary Baptist Association will host a men’s conference April 26-27. Cost is $120 per church, or the price of 12 tickets. • Food pantry. Full Gospel Tabernacle Community Christian Church will host a food pantry 4-7 p.m. Wednesdays at the church, 17470 Seven Mile Post Road, Athens. More information: Joseph Fifer, 256-262-3052.
• Preschool registration. New Life Assembly of God at 16768 U.S. 72, Athens, is enrolling students for its child-development program. The program, for children ages 6 weeks through prekindergarten, is 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Anyone who recommends someone else is eligible for $25 off the first week’s tuition.
