An Ardmore man remained jailed Friday in Limestone County after being charged with sodomy and sexual abuse of a child under age 12, court records show.
Bradley Eugene Loggins, 38, of 27187 Sterling Road, was arrested on warrants Thursday charging him with first-degree sodomy and sexual abuse of a child under age 12, both felonies.
Other charges are pending, said Limestone County Sheriff’s Investigator Kristin King, who conducted the investigation leading to Loggins’ arrest.
The alleged victim in the case is a 14-year-old female girl, King said.
The Sheriff’s Office learned of the alleged abuse when a report was filed, King said.
“Loggins was an family acquaintance. The abuse occurred over a few years and now we have found out about it,” King said.
Bail had not yet been set for Loggins as of Friday afternoon.
