A scary good time at Poke Sallet

Tickets are still available for production, titled “The Legends of Limestone: The Myths, The Magic, The Mayhem.” The show continues tonight and Saturday night at the Athens Senior Center and features appearances by a number of elected leaders, including Athens Mayor Ronnie Marks, Limestone County Commission Chairman Collin Daly, Limestone County Sheriff Mike Blakely and Athens Police Chief Floyd Johnson.

The cost per ticket is $35 and includes dinner from 306 Barbecue. Dinner is served at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 7:45 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the Limestone County Council on Aging office, 503 S. Jefferson St.

Proceeds benefit the Foundation on Aging, which provides services to seniors in the community like Meals on Wheels.
