Limestone County Coroner Mike West has confirmed a pedestrian was struck and killed Saturday night in Decatur-annexed Limestone County.

West said the accident occurred around 9:30 p.m. in the northbound lane of U.S. 31 South. An RV traveling northbound struck the pedestrian, West said.

No additional details are available at this time. Officials are withholding ID pending notification of next of kin.
