Limestone County narcotics officers seized body armor, stolen pistols, heroin, methamphetamine, oxycontin, marijuana, more than $15,000 in cash and arrested five people in a recent drug bust in western Limestone County, officials said.

The accused are now facing charges ranging from heroin distribution to loitering in a known drug house, records show.

After obtaining a search warrant, the sheriff’s narcotics unit searched a home on Elk River Mills Road Jan. 5, found the various drugs and cash and arrested five people inside the home, according to a report filed by Narcotics Investigator Jamie King.

The following people were arrested on the following charges:

• Travis Michael Yerby, 33, of 13850 Elk River Mills Road, Athens, distribution of a controlled substance for selling or distributing heroin, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia (digital scales).

Because of his arrest, Yerby’s bond on previous charges was revoked and he remains in the Limestone County Jail with bail set at $9,500 on the new charges. He cannot be released due to his bond revocation. His court date has not been set.

• Amelia Rae Hargrove, 31, of 27317 Miller Lane, Elkmont, second-degree possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and loitering in a known drug house. She remains in the county jail with bail set at $2,500. Her court date has not been set.

• Jeremy Lee Tucker, 24, of 18494 Easter Ferry Road, Athens, first offense possession of drug paraphernalia, attempt to elude a police officer, loitering in a known drug house and an active arrest warrant. He remains in the county jail; bail set at $2,500. His release and court date have not been set.

• Lauren Nicole Gatlin, 31, of 17306 Holland Heights Road, Athens, loitering in a known drug house. She was released from the county jail after posting a $500 bond. Her court date has not been set.

• Lorna Darin Mitchell, 25, of 200 Summer Tree Court, Hazel Green, loitering in a known drug house. She remains in the county jail; bail set at $500. Her release has not been set. Her court date is 9 a.m. Feb. 11 in Limestone County District Court.
