ALABASTER, Ala. (AP) — Authorities say an Alabama high school student has been arrested in a drug investigation at the campus.

The Shelby County Drug Enforcement Task Force’s commander told news outlets Wednesday that 18-year-old Kamau Diandi Greene was apprehended in the probe at Thompson High School in Alabaster.

Capt. Clay Hammac says investigators went to the school Monday and found Greene had ecstasy, Xanax, a quarter pound of marijuana, other drugs and paraphernalia. Hammac says he also had three guns and that one was confirmed to have been stolen.

Greene is charged with related drug and gun offenses. He was released from the county jail on a $13,000 bond. It is unclear if he has a lawyer who could comment for him.
