Jingle cells

Female inmates at the Limestone County Jail were invited to festoon their cell blocks for the holidays this year. From left, inmates Laura Hines, Tamara Smith, Belinda McCluskey, Cassie Ritchie and Jodi Davis gather around a handmade fireplace and Christmas tree. Stockings are hung by the fire with care, and a bottle-cap wreath hangs above the tree. The women used objects commonly found within the jail to construct their decorations, such as cardboard tubes, toothpaste, empty bags of Ramen noodles or potato chips and labels from soda bottles.
