A Limestone County man and woman arrested in August on multiple child pornography and sexual charges are now facing additional charges, records show.

Limestone County Sheriff’s Spokesman Stephen Young said investigators were informed Dec. 3 by the Child Advocacy Center that a second victim had disclosed details of abuse by 35-year-old Bethany Malone (also known as Bethany Siniard) and 46-year-old Gregory Wade Anderson.

Malone and Anderson now face one count each of sex abuse of a child under 12. Malone has remained in jail since her initial arrest, with bail currently set at $141,000. Anderson was arrested Tuesday on a warrant. Bail has not been set.

Previous arrest

The August charges against Malone and Anderson involved a teenager who had been taken to a hospital for observation after it was revealed they were self-harming.

At the hospital, the teen told a counselor about the abuse, which involved Malone taking photos of the victim and sharing them with Anderson. Authorities searched their Elkmont homes and found photos of the victim and other evidence.

Malone and Anderson were each arrested as a result. Records show Malone was charged Aug. 24 with causing the delinquency of a minor, possession of child pornography, facilitating the solicitation of unlawful sexual conduct with a child, dissemination or display of child pornography, production of pornography with minors and permitting a child to engage in pornography.

Anderson was charged on the same date with possession of child pornography, causing the delinquency of a minor and facilitating the solicitation of unlawful sexual conduct with a child. Young said 10 additional counts of possession of child pornography were filed Aug. 30, with one more count of possession of child pornography and one count of possession of a controlled substance filed Aug. 31.

Anderson was released from jail twice on bond before turning himself in Tuesday.

Due to the nature of the new charges, Young said information about the victims or specific details of the incident cannot be released. However, he said, the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are possible.
