An Athens man who fled authorities after being found asleep in a car in the middle of Pryor Street has been found and arrested, an official said Wednesday.
Tedric Christopher Boldin, 22, of Cain Drive, was found asleep Sept. 6 behind the wheel of a vehicle that was still in drive when officers approached, said Athens Police Capt. Trevor Harris. Officers were able to wake the driver and get the vehicle in park without incident, and Boldin was found to have marijuana, a concealed pistol and drug paraphernalia in his possession, Harris said.
