Menus

Monday: Swedish meatballs with sauce over rotini noodles, zucchini casserole, carrots, whole-grain bread, chocolate mini Moon Pie, milk;

Tuesday: Beef tacos, ground beef, shredded lettuce, cheese and tomatoes, cheesy pinto beans, taco sauce, sour cream, tortilla chips, mandarin oranges, Moon Pie;

Wednesday: Orange pineapple sauce, mojo chicken drumsticks, yellow rice with tomatoes and peppers, mixed vegetables, cornbread, apple spice cookie, milk;

Thursday: Grape juice, turkey salad sandwich, three-bean salad, mixed fruit, whole-grain bread slices, white cake;

Friday: Beef hot dog with bun, coleslaw, baked beans, ketchup, mustard, diced onions, pineapple tidbits, fudge round, milk.

Announcements

• Centers will be closed Dec. 24-25 for Christmas and Dec. 31-Jan. 1 for New Year’s. There will be no meals on wheels from Dec. 21 to Jan. 2.

• The Limestone County Council on Aging has a program through Senior Rx to assist anyone who is age 55 or older or disabled with acquiring their prescriptions at no cost. Call Carla Sims at 256-233-6412.
