From the city of Athens:

Public Works will block the east side of Marion Street between Washington and Market streets on the morning of Wednesday, Nov. 28, for a couple of hours to saw cut the pavement to patch over the water line.

Public Works anticipates patching the asphalt pavement before Dec. 6. A notification regarding the day crews plan to do the asphalt repair will be sent as soon as possible. Weather will play a part in making the repair.
