The following personnel actions were approved Nov. 15 by the Limestone County Board of Education:

New contracts

• Caroline Howard Sellers, Title I intervention reading teacher at Elkmont High School, paid $27 per hour, not to exceed $5,409.20, funded by Title I, effective Nov. 16-Dec. 21;

• Jennifer Smith, itinerant part-time English language teacher at Limestone County Schools, paid $27 per hour, not to exceed $14,742.00, funded by Title III, effective Nov. 16-Aug. 30, 2019;

• Anna Cum, homebound teacher at Limestone County Schools, paid $27 per hour, not to exceed $8,000, funded by (3210-purchased services federal funds), retroactive to Nov. 5-May 24, 2019;

• Brittany Stinnett, contract aide at Creekside Elementary School, paid $12 per hour, not to exceed $16,000, funded by (3210-purchased services-federal funds), retroactive to Sept. 24-May 24, 2019; and

• Presence Learning teletherapy at Tanner Elementary/Tanner High schools, paid $32,240.00, funded by (3210-purchased services-federal funds), retroactive to Sept. 10-May 24, 2019.

Leaves of absences

• Clinton Putman, teacher at Ardmore High School, leave of absence, retroactive to Oct. 16-Jan. 24, 2019, under Family Medical Leave of Absence;

• Ericka Zirbel, teacher at Blue Springs Elementary School, leave of absence, effective Nov. 15-Jan. 10, 2019, under FMLA;

• David Jones, bus driver at Clements High/Blue Springs Elementary schools, leave over 20 days, retroactive to Sept. 4-Oct. 12;

• Amy Lynn Mosley, media specialist at Clements High School, leave over 20 days, retroactive to Sept. 24-Nov. 13;

• Ed Nave, bus driver at East Limestone High School, leave over 20 days, retroactive to Sept. 4-Nov. 30;

• Christy Duncan, instructional assistant at Johnson Elementary School, unpaid leave over 20 days, effective Nov. 16-March 22, 2019.

• Christopher McNatt, custodian at Limestone County Career Technical Center, leave of absence, retroactive to Oct. 1-Nov. 29 under FMLA; and

• Ricky Roden, utility bus driver for Transportation Department, leave over 20 days, retroactive to Oct. 25-Nov. 30

Leave instead of sick leave

• Karen White, child nutrition program worker at West Limestone High School, leave in lieu of sick leave, retroactive to Oct. 15-Nov. 30.

Resignations

• Angela Brandenburg, CNP worker at Clements High School, resigned effective Nov. 15;

• Maggie Keller, yearbook sponsor only, Elkmont High School, resigned retroactive to Oct. 15;

• Cecilia Ivey, assistant girls soccer coach only, Elkmont High School, resigned retroactive to Oct. 9; and

• Ricky Roden, utility school bus driver for Transportation Department, resigned effective Dec. 1.

Retirements

• Edgar W. Nave, bus driver at East Limestone High, retiring effective Dec. 1; and

• Keith Hairrell, principal at Clements High School, retiring effective Jan. 1, 2019.

• Matt Smith, itinerant instructional assistant at Tanner High School, temporary transfer to Colt Behavioral Unit, retroactive to Oct. 22-Oct. 24;

• Billie Jo Ussery, regular route bus driver at Tanner High School transferring to LCCTC route at Tanner High, retroactive to Aug. 27;

• Tracy Jackson, regular route bus driver at Elkmont Elementary/Elkmont High schools, transferring to Creekside Elementary/Creekside Primary schools, effective Nov. 16;

• Suzie Austin, regular route bus driver at Piney Chapel Elementary/Elkmont High schools, transferring to East Limestone High School, effective Nov. 16; and

• Brian Anderson, HVAC instructor at LLCTC, transferring to maintenance for Limestone County, effective Nov. 16.

21st Century Community Learning Center

• Jennifer King, 21st Century Community Learning Center part-time teacher at Piney Chapel Elementary School, paid $27 per hour and funded by 21st CCLC grant, 3-6 p.m. Mondays-Fridays during regular school year and 7:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m Mondays-Thursdays during summer program, effective Nov. 16-June 28, 2019; and

• Greg Burchell, 21st CCLC bus driver at Sugar Creek Elementary School, paid according to LCBOE salary schedule and funded by 21st CCLC grant, 3-6 p.m. Mondays-Fridays during regular school year and 7:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays during summer program, effective Nov. 16-Sept. 30, 2019.

New personnel

• Virginia “Susie” Balch, school psychometrist at central office, replacing Kristen Orndorff for rest of year only, effective Nov. 16;

• Samuel Spann, instructional education assistant at East Limestone High School, replacing Crystal Pugh for rest of year only, effective Nov. 16;

• Adrian Clark, technical specialist at Elkmont High/Piney Chapel Elementary School, replacing Elaine McCord for rest of year only, effective Nov. 16;

• Jeremy Owens, HVAC instructor at LCCTC, replacing Brian Anderson for rest of year only, effective Nov. 16; and

• Sherry Winsett, third-grade teacher at Johnson Elementary School, replacing Andrew George for rest of year only, effective Nov. 26.

Suspension

• Olivia Hardy, bus driver at Creekside Elementary School/Creekside Primary School, suspended without pay effective Dec. 4-6.

Supplement reprimand

• John Johnson, assistant football coach at Clements High School, supplement deduction effective Nov. 16.
