• Jesse James Savage, 40, of 222 Buttermilk Way, Elkmont, third-degree possession of a forged instrument

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts and incident Tuesday and Wednesday:

• ATHENS — 2016 black Honda 70CC dirt bike valued at $800 stolen Nov. 19 or 20, 5000 block Henry Drive

• LESTER — Tools of unknown value stolen between Oct. 20 and Nov. 9, 20000 block Monday Road

• TONEY — 2009 gold Hyundai Sonata used without authorization Nov. 20, 20000 block Lasso Circle

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported no new arrests Tuesday or Wednesday.

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Tuesday and Wednesday:

• Framing T-square, toolbox with miscellaneous tools, Dewalt drill, Omnicube seam setter, mechanic’s work gloves, Utilitech LED light and Porter-Cable heat gun, total $1,645, stolen during vehicle break-in Nov. 18 or 19, 1000 block U.S. 72 East

• Samsung 4G tablet computer, Samsung Galaxy S8+ edge smartphone and $1,800, total $2,950, stolen Nov. 18 or 19, 300 block Chestnut Street
