Woman killed at Alabama rail car plant

MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. (AP) — A woman is dead following an accident at a railroad car factory in north Alabama.

News outlets report that the death occurred Tuesday at FreightCar America in Colbert County.

Authorities haven’t released the victim’s name or any details about what happened.

FreightCar America is based in Chicago. Its website says the decade-old factory is more than 2 million square feet in size and manufactures different sorts of railroad cars.
