National Collection Week for Operation Christmas Child kicks off Monday, Nov. 12, and runs through Nov. 19.
Since it was founded in 1993, Operation Christmas Child has delivered 135 million gift-filled packages to children in 150 different countries. Shoebox gifts can be filled with new toys, school supplies and hygiene items. Toothpaste and candy are no longer allowed due to shipping restrictions.
