HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) — The case of a woman accused in her 11-month-old daughter’s death in Alabama will be considered for indictment.

AL.com reports 30-year-old Porsha Bole appeared Thursday in Madison County District Court for a preliminary hearing. Judge Claude Hundley ruled prosecutors have enough evidence to send her case to a grand jury.

Bole and 28-year-old Joshua Foster are charged with aggravated child abuse in their daughter Arianna Foster’s death.

Sheriff’s deputies found Arianna dead inside her family’s mobile home in September. County Investigator Crystal Bailey testified Thursday that she was “severely malnourished.”

Medical experts haven’t determined what caused her death.

Defense attorney Jake Watson said in court records that Bole and her family “have very limited means.”

Foster’s case is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Dec. 5. His attorney, Norman Bradley, says Foster’s $60,000 bail is “excessive.”
