Athens Bible’s Kyndal Barksdale, left, and Mackenzie Davis hold gold volleyballs they received as part of setting career milestones. Barksdale, a senior left hitter, recently surpassed 1,000 career kills while Davis, a junior setter, recently surpassed 2,000 career assists. The two Trojans players will look to continue their outstanding careers in the Class 1A North Region Tournament, which began Thursday morning.
