From the Alabama Department of Transportation:

HUNTSVILLE — The Alabama Department of Transportation advises motorists that Wiregrass Construction will begin working daytime hours on the northern Interstate 65 resurfacing project due to colder weather and temperature limitations for materials.

Previously, all work on the $3,569,494 resurfacing between mile marker 359 (two miles south of Thach Road) and the Tennessee state line was performed at night. Beginning Monday, crews will instead work from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Work will be focused on the southbound roadway. Southbound motorists are advised to expect single-lane closures.
