Clements shut out by Lauderdale County 42-0

Clements’ offense was held to just 69 total yards in a 42-0 road loss to Lauderdale County Friday night. It was the Colts’ fourth straight loss after opening the season with two victories.

Clements’ offense also lost two fumbles, which were returned for touchdowns by Alex Newton and Eli Belue.

Slade Brown scored two touchdowns for Lauderdale County on runs of 34 and 13 yards. The Tigers’ other touchdowns were on an 8-yard run by Kameron Jones and a 2-yard run by Will Adams.

Clements falls to 2-4 overall and 0-3 in Class 3A, Region 8. The Colts host East Lawrence next Friday night.
