UPDATED: 1 injured in wreck on I-65

UPDATE: 5:19 P.M.: All southbound lanes of I-65 are now open.

UPDATE 3:35 P.M.: I-65 south is closed again as crews attempt to remove the overturned tractor-trailer. Tennessee DOT and state troopers are detouring traffic onto Old U.S. 31 to Jones Avenue and from Jones Avenue to Alabama 53, then Alabama 53 back to I-65.

UPDATE 3 P.M.: One lane of Interstate 65 south near the state line has reopened.

UPDATE: Currently, all lanes of Interstate 65 south near the state line are closed for an undetermined period while crews work to right a tractor-trailer that overturned earlier. ALDOT hopes to have all lines reopened by 4 p.m. Traffic is currently backed up to Exit 1 in Tennessee.

The inside lane of Interstate 65 South near the Alabama-Tennessee state line is temporarily closed while crews work to clear the scene of an overturned tractor-trailer. One person was injured in the wreck.
