Athens woman charged in vehicle break-in

Athens Police Department has made an arrest in the case of a vehicle break-in last week in the 400 block of South Houston Street.

Chief Floyd Johnson said Investigator Kelly Fussell arrested Cheri Jean Twitty, 46, of 705 Second St., on one count of breaking and entering a vehicle. Johnson said a wallet, credit card and $150 in cash were taken during the break-in.

Twitty was booked at the Police Department and transferred to the Limestone County Jail, where bail is set at $7,500.
