All I-65 southbound exits open

All southbound exits on Interstate 65 are now open, according to the Alabama Department of Transportation.

ALDOT crews will be working this afternoon to remove traffic control devices, message boards, temporary signals, temporary stop lines and any other striping that was placed, and to replace any signs that were removed or covered.

In the evening, following peak afternoon travel, ALDOT will begin readjusting signal timing on U.S. 31 and Alabama 67. Motorists may experience some delays on these routes this afternoon due to the adjustments that were made yesterday, but all should be back to normal this weekend.
