UPDATED: One in custody after Limestone County chase; counterfeit cash found in car

A high-speed pursuit in northern Limestone County has come to an end after reaching a top speed of 114 mph, according to dispatch reports.

The suspect vehicle was a gold jaguar. The chase was first reported on Wooley Springs Road and ended at the intersection of Concord and McKee roads.

A Tweet from the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office says counterfeit cash was found in the vehicle matching that from other recent cases. Subutex and 2 ounces of “ice” methamphetamine were also found.

The suspect is now in custody.
