Hollis Lachie Jolly

An Athens man was arrested Wednesday on charges of harassment and indecent exposure because he allegedly touched an acquaintance inappropriately and exposed himself, an official said.

Athens Police Chief Floyd Johnson said a 40-year-old woman reported she had been upset and received a hug from 40-year-old Hollis Lachie Jolly, an acquaintance.

The chief said the victim reported during the hug, Jolly touched her breast. After the hug, the victim said Jolly pulled down his pants and exposed his penis to her. The incident occurred in the 1800 block of U.S. 72.

The victim obtained warrants against Jolly Wednesday afternoon, and they were served Wednesday night. After being booked at the Athens Police Department, Jolly was released on a $1,500 bond.
