GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (AP) — Authorities say two of five inmates who escaped from an Alabama jail have been recaptured.
A spokesman for Marshall County Sheriff Scott Walls tells AL.com the inmates escaped Tuesday morning from the jail in Guntersville. Walls spokesman Heath Thomas says Adam Dean and Damon Dempsey are the inmates who were recaptured.
A statement from the sheriff and jail records say the three inmates authorities seek are 28-year-old Brian Eugene White, 30-year-old Benjamin Cameron and 27-year-old Baldemar Davila.
White was jailed on a bond revocation and a charge of failure to register as a felon. Cameron was jailed on charges of violating probation and failure to appear in theft cases. Davila was jailed on charges of violating probation and failing to appear for breaking and entering.
It’s unclear if they have lawyers.
