Gregory Devonta Ivey

A state prisoner who walked off a job site in Athens Tuesday night was recaptured early Wednesday in Huntsville, according to published media reports.

Gregory Devonta Ivey, 26, left his assigned job location at about 5:30 p.m., according to the Alabama Department of Corrections. He was sentenced in May 2016 to 15 years in prison for second-degree robbery.
