Centennial celebration. Alabama Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America (CPCA) will hold its centennial celebration 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at the Limestone County Archives, 102 W. Washington St., Athens. There will be a proclamation signing by Maytor Ronnie Marks, historical reflections from members past and present, hymn music by the Swoopes. Refreshments served.

A capella singing. Mount Carmel Church of Christ will hold its fourth annual a capella congregational singing at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at the church at 7805 U.S. 72, Athens.

Anniversary. St. Mark Primitive Baptist Church will celebrate its 105th anniversary 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, at the church at 740 W. Sanderfer Road, Athens.

Singing. First Independent Methodist Church will hold a singing 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, at the church at 13904 Zehner Road, featuring Sunday Tradition. More information: William Pitts, 256-374-1734.

Bible study. Mount Nebo Missionary Baptist Church invites all to its second summer outreach Bible study ministry at 7 p.m. every Wednesday night through Aug. 29 at Pincham-Lincoln Center in Athens. Ghost tent revival. St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church will hold an old-fashioned ghost tent revival Aug. 13-17 at the corner of Browns Ferry Road and U.S. 72. Prayer service, 6:30 p.m.; worship service guest evangelist the Rev. Sam Outlaw, 7 p.m.

Centennial worship. Alabama Fork CPCA will hold its centennial celebratory worship 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, at Elkmont CPCA in Elkmont. Reception to follow.

Centennial finale. Alabama Fork CPCA will hold its centennial grand finale celebration 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Limestone County Event Center, Athens. Music by Bobbie Mason; recognition of CPCA legacy leaders; heavy hors d’oeuvres served. More information: 256-340-4824.
