DAR honors JROTC student

The John Wade Keyes Chapter of the American Society Daughters of the American Revolution recently recognized the group’s JROTC Award winner, Athens High School sophomore Dulcie Garcia-Malone, center. Garcia-Malone is joined by DAR Vice-Regent Dana Henry and JROTC instructor Chief James Chambers. The chapter annually awards an outstanding JROTC student with a certificate and medal from the National Society as well as a small monetary award.
