Exploring Wheeler Lake

- A group of North Alabama children explore Wheeler Lake Thursday under the watchful eye of trained instructors from the Limestone County 4-H Extension Office. As participants in the Alabama 4-H RiverKids program, children ages 9–18, learn safe paddling practices while exploring Alabama's many waterways.
Limestone County 4-H Extension Agent Chloe Wilson demonstrates safe paddling skills to a group of North Alabama children Thursday on Wheeler Lake in Rogersville. The kids are participating in RiverKids, a youth kayaking program developed by Alabama 4-H and the Alabama Scenic River Trail Program.
