County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Thursday:

• Jamey Lynn Baldwin, 28, of 27430 Nick Davis Road, Athens, five counts first-degree possession of a forged instrument
• Bradley Allen Barran, 30, of 10708 Paradise Shores Road, Athens, bond revoked on previous charges of two counts identity theft and two counts third-degree forgery (counterfeiting)
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts or incidents Thursday:
• ATHENS — Mercruiser outdrive motor valued at $28,000 stolen between July 4 and 10, 6000 block U.S. 72
• ATHENS — Stihl weed eater valued at $300, Polan chain saw valued at $200, pressure washer valued at $350 and gas can valued at $10 stolen between July 10 and 11, 15000 block U.S. 72

City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following additional arrests Thursday:
• Michael Douglas Hacker, 33, of 703 Fifth Ave., Athens, third-degree domestic violence (menacing) and probation revoked on previous conviction of third-degree domestic violence
• Mark Steven Keener, 30, of 2115 Stanford St., Athens, second-degree possession of forged instrument
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts or incidents Thursday:
• Five handheld walkie-talkies valued at $780 stolen between May 4 and June 20, 700 block Market Street
• .22-caliber semi-automatic rifle wooden stock valued at $150 and 20-gauge single shot shotgun wooden stock valued at $200 stolen July 11, 300 block Forrest Street West
• Money valued at $180 stolen July 11, 500 block Elkton Street
• Illinois driver permit certificate valued at $10, brown leather wallet valued at $10, black UnderArmor string backpack valued at $30, Regions debit card in the name of Gregg Thomas valued at $1, black monogrammed sports towel with the name “Jermie” valued at $30, mens clothing valued at $50, Apple phone charger valued at $25 and U.S. currency valued at $20 stolen July 11, Swan Creek Pavilion
