Revival. Peace Missionary Baptist Church will host a revival series at 7 p.m. today through July 13 at the church, 1214 Plainview Circle, Athens. Speakers include Peace M.B. Senior Pastor Jimmy Bailey and Pastor Leroy Elliot of Greater St. John C.M.B. in Chicago.

Kali pooja. Hindu Cultural Center of North America will host kali pooja on the occasion of Amavasya at 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 13, on Vishnu Way in Harvest. Ganapeti Abhisekam will be performed at 10:30 a.m. Friday. More information: 256-771-7730.

Gospel singing. Gospel singing to benefit Project Lifesaver of Limestone County will be 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 13, at Berea Baptist Church, 16779 Lucas Ferry Road, Athens. The event features The Brandon Pylant Family, the Terry’s and Revived. Admission is $5.

Friends Helping Friends. Tennessee Valley Youth Rally 2018 will be at noon Saturday, July 14, at McCandless Hall, Athens State University. Theme is “Pressing Toward the Mark; It’s Time to Move Forward (Phil. 3:12-24).” Topics include drugs, bullying, suicide and God’s way of escape. Guests include The Rescue Me Project, Faith Walk Christian Drama Team, Gary White.

Friends and family day. New Beria Missionary Baptist Church will host a friends and family day Sunday, July 15. There will be an 11 a.m. service featuring Fresh Start Ministry and a 2 p.m. service with Pastor Jermaine Turner and the Woodruff family. More information: Eric, 256-316-8047.

Celebration. HCCNA will hold Ratha Yatra Celebration 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, July 15, at 14800 Vishnu Way, Harvest.

Concert. Tickets are on sale now for the Friends Helping Friends concert, featuring The Flashbacks Show Band and special guests Limestone Creek, are on sale now. The concert will take place 7 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at the Limestone County Event Center, 114 W. Pryor St., Athens. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $20 for reserved seating, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Truth Baptist Church’s community service program. Celebration. HCCNA will hold Bahuda Yatra Celebration from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at Vishnu Way, Harvest.

Summer program. New Life Assembly in Athens is now enrolling children for its summer program, which will include field trips, games and water days for children in grades K-5. Program runs 7 a.m.–6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays from now until Aug. 4. Cost: $35 nonrefundable registration fee; $125 per week plus one time $75 activities fee for full time; $35 per day for part time or $45 on field-trip days.
