Funeral services will be held at noon today at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home for an 8-year-old child who drowned Wednesday in a community pool.

Son Thai Phan, who would have been a second-grader at Creekside Primary School, died Friday at Huntsville Women’s and Children’s Hospital, according to an obituary from the funeral home.

He is survived by his parents, Ty Phan and Trang Ho; brother, Hai Phan and grandparents, Duc Phan, Khoi Ho and Du Le.
