Athens Bible School will again host the Light Up the Night 5K and Fun Run charity event Saturday evening.

The fun run will begin at 7 p.m. with the 5K run/walk set to start at 7:30. The entry fee for the 5K is $30, while the 1-mile fun run entry fee is either $5 or $20 with a T-shirt. Entry fees are nonrefundable.

The course will proceed through downtown Athens. Runners, walkers and strollers are all welcome. Chip timing will be used for the 5K and conducted by Solid Rock Race Timing.

The overall top three male and female finishers will receive an award along with the top three male and female finishers in each age group.

The divisions are: 10 and younger, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 24-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 and older.

Registration may be completed online at www.athensbibleschool.org or by submitting the registration form with payment by mail or in person to: Athens Bible School Light Up the Night, S. 507 Hoffman Street, Athens, AL 35611. Checks should be made payable to Athens Bible School.

Packets may be picked up from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Fleet Feet in Huntsville.
