• Revival. Peace Missionary Baptist Church will host a revival series at 7 p.m. July 11–13 at the church, 1214 Plainview Circle, Athens. Speakers include Peace M.B. Senior Pastor Jimmy Bailey and Pastor Leroy Elliot of Greater St. John C.M.B. in Chicago.

• Gospel singing. Gospel singing to benefit Project Lifesaver of Limestone County will be 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 13, at Berea Baptist Church, 16779 Lucas Ferry Road, Athens. The event features The Brandon Pylant Family, the Terry’s and Revived. Admission is $5.

• Friends Helping Friends. Tennessee Valley Youth Rally 2018 will be at noon Saturday, July 14, at McCandless Hall, Athens State University. Theme is “Pressing Toward the Mark; It’s Time to Move Forward (Phil. 3:12-24).” Topics include drugs, bullying, suicide and God’s way of escape. • Honoring women. God’s Women Ministry will host its Women on a Mission from God event at noon Saturday, July 21, at Athens-Limestone Public Library. • Summer program. New Life Assembly in Athens is now enrolling children for its summer program, which will include field trips, games and water days for children in grades K-5.
