County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Tuesday:
• Kaleb Lee Barnhill, 21, of 16050 American Way, Athens, fourth-degree theft
• Tyler Alonzo Johnson, 24, of 208 Southwind Drive, Athens, third-degree possession of a forged instrument
• Kenneth Wayne Lewter, 39, of 19904 Huntsville-Browns Ferry Road, Tanner, menacing-intimidation (voice) and reckless endangerment
• Tyler Jefferson Smith, 27, of 14799 Foxwood Drive, Harvest, destruction of state property by a prisoner
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts and incidents Tuesday:
• ATHENS — iPhone 7 cellphone valued at $708 stolen between June 1 and 18, 15000 block Elk River Mills Road
• ATHENS — 2006 blue Chrysler 300 C valued at $8,265 stolen between Sept. 28, 2017, and May 30 (reported June 18)
• HARVEST — Air compressor/central unit valued at $12,000 stolen between June 15 and 18, 14000 block Vishnu Way
• ATHENS — 2008 red Dodge Ram valued at $20,000 stolen June 17 or 18, 7000 block Holt Springer Road
• ATHENS — Jewelry, coins and driver’s license, total $1,010, stolen June 17 or 18, 22000 block Pine Road
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:
• Lydia Rochelle Ferrell, 26, of 22235 Buttermilk Way, Athens, fourth-degree theft of property
• Ronald Stanley, 60, homeless, Athens, third-degree criminal trespass
• Timothy Shawn Tuck, 28, of 13390 Buddy Drive, Athens, fourth-degree theft of property
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts and incidents Tuesday:
• Alpine car stereo and two speakers, total $1,500, stolen during vehicle break-in between March 16 and June 18, 1000 block North Jefferson Street (reported June 18)
• Marquee sign of unknown value damaged due to criminal mischief between June 8-17, 700 block West Market Street
• Couch, cloth, lazy Susan, 15 cloth pillows, oil painting of pond with barn wood frame, two paintings of potted flowers with silver frames, 15 assorted crystal antique candlesticks and serving bowls, and ceramic man and woman figurine, total $1,520, stolen during burglary between Jan. 1 and June 15, 1800 block U.S. 72 East (reported June 18)
