A man killed early Sunday in a one-vehicle crash on Edgewood Road has been identified.

Limestone County Coroner Mike West said 35-year-old Jason Conley of Athens was killed in the crash, which occurred at about 2 a.m.

Conley was the passenger in the Chevrolet Corvette, which left the pavement, hit a ditch and tree. Conley was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver was taken to Huntsville Hospital via MedFlight.

State troopers are investigating.
