County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following new arrests Friday:
• Patricia Adele Jacobs, 43, of 20426 Lasso Circle, Toney, third-degree domestic violence (assault)
• Michael Allen Shannon, 44, of 132 Hillwood Drive, New Market, Madison Police Department arrest for second-degree theft
• Anthony Alf Boyd Jr., 18, of 3225 Golden Turtle Circle, Louisville, Kentucky, first-degree theft (auto)
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts or incidents Friday:
• ATHENS — Century safe and contents valued at $900, Bose CD player valued at $500 and Craftsman drill valued at $50 stolen May 24, 22000 block Cairo Hollow Road
• TONEY — Generator valued at $500 and 3-ton jack valued at $122 stolen between May 23 and 24, 19000 block East Limestone Road
• ELKMONT — U.S. currency valued at $200 stolen May 24, 2000 block Harris Road
• ATHENS — White 1994 Honda Civic valued at $2,800 stolen between March 24 and May 24, 11000 block Snake Road
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the following new arrests Friday:
• Lakerris Atwan Petty, 34, of 1405 Grace St., Athens, probation revocation on previous conviction of criminal trespass and fleeing/attempting to elude a police officer
• Caitlin Siobhan Smothers, 27, of 555 Saturn Blvd., San Bernardino, California, DUI (alcohol)
• Sean Tyson Travis, 32, of 119 Edinburgh Drive, Athens, bond revocation on previous charge
• Jerry Wayne Thompson, 38, of 708 Westmoreland Ave., Athens, failure of sex offender to provide documentation of identity, resisting arrest, fleeing/attempting to elude a police officer and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia
• Zachary Kim Pressnell, 33, of 20091 Cox Road, Athens, unlawful possession of controlled substance
• Cory James Criddle, 27, of 1711 W. Elm St., Athens, DUI (alcohol)
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts or incidents Friday:
• Three-wheeled Schwinn bicycle valued at $300 stolen May 24, 1000 block U.S. 72 East
