A construction company building a new solar facility in Limestone County will host a job fair next week at the Greater Limestone Chamber of Commerce.

Atlanta-based McCarthy Building Companies will be at the chamber office from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 15. The chamber is at 106 Cloverleaf Drive, Athens.

Positions to be hired include general labor, crew leads, equipment operators, apprentice electricians and journeyman electricians. McCarthy will be hiring more than 100 people to build the Cumberland Solar Plant on 120 acres in Elkmont.
