2nd Huntsville man charged in $1,771 Walmart theft

A second Huntsville man has been arrested for allegedly stealing $1,771 worth of merchandise from Athens Walmart in January, an official said.
Christopher Arlen Clark, 28, of 2412 Belltown Drive SW, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of second-degree theft, according to Police Chief Floyd Johnson.
Investigator Kelly Fussell arrested Clark after an investigation into a theft at the store in January, the chief said. He was booked at the police department and transferred to the Limestone County Jail, where he was released after posting a $2,500 bond.
Michael Lee Alan Thompson, 27, of 3112 Hale Drive SW, was arrested Tuesday on first- and second-degree theft for allegedly stealing a $2,893 mower April 4 and $1,771 in merchandise in January. He remains jailed with bail set at $7,500.
