Menus

• Monday: Orange juice, teriyaki pork patty, fried rice, spring vegetables, wheat bread, fig bar, milk;

• Tuesday: Cranberry juice, chicken tetrazzini, spinach, whole kernel corn, wheat roll, marble cake, milk;

• Wednesday: Taco salad with meat, pinto beans, salad mix, corn chips, sour cream, taco sauce, orange gelatin, milk/chocolate milk;

• Thursday: Apple juice, vegetable plate with macaroni and cheese, black-eyed peas, collard greens, cornbread, raisin cream pie, milk/buttermilk;

• Friday: Salisbury steak/mushroom gravy, whipped potatoes, green peas, fresh fruit, wheat bread, chocolate pudding, milk.

Announcements

• Senior Fun Fest is May 9 at Sharon Johnston Park. Tickets may be purchased at the Council on Aging office at 912 Pryor St. in Athens. Tickets are $3 in advance and $4 at the gate.

• Quilting classes begin at 9:30 a.m. April 10 at the Athens Senior Center. Participants will make a log cabin lap quilt. More information: 256-233-6412.
