The Limestone County Special Olympics has been postponed due to inclement weather. The event was supposed to take place today at Athens High School football stadium, but was postponed due to rain that swept across the area.

The event will now take place Friday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Athens High football stadium.
