• Spring sing. By Faith 21st Annual Spring Sing will be Saturday, March 24, at Coffee County High School, 100 Red Raider Drive, Manchester, Tennessee. Doors open 5 p.m.; singing at 6. Event features Denise Hopkins of Toney and By Faith of Manchester. More information: Johnny Brown, 931-728-5389.
• Mothers/Deacons March. Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church will hold annual Mothers and Deacons March 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 25, at 803 Westmoreland Ave., Athens. Guest speaker is the Rev. Antoyne Green, pastor of New Life Baptist Church of Athens. Song service by Sweet Home male choir.
• Gospel concert. First Independent Methodist Church will host a performance by Marvin Morrow at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 25, at 13904 Zehner Road, Athens. The event is open to the public and will include a love offering.
• Gospel meetings. Harvest Church of Christ will hold gospel meetings March 25-28 at the church at 8941 Wall Triana Highway, Harvest. Times are 9:45 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday, March 25; and 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, March 26-28. Speaker is Josh Carter.
• Lunch series. First Presbyterian Church at 112 S. Jefferson St., Athens, will hold its community Holy Week lunch series at noon daily March 26-30 in the church sanctuary, with meal to follow at the Rodgers Center. Local ministers will perform the short services.
• Music for a Mission. First Presbyterian Church in Athens will hold its Music for a Mission event with performance by local band Simon Sez to benefit Camp Hope, an annual day camp that helps children who have lost a loved one. Event is 4 p.m. Sunday, April 29, at the revival building at 303 W. Washington St. Refreshments are free but bring own seating.
• Youth revival. A youth revival will be held at 6:30 p.m. April 2-4 at St. Mark Primitive Baptist Church at 740 Sanderfer Road in Athens. Guest preacher: the Rev. Christopher Neloms of First Baptist Church of Courtland. Guest choirs: Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church youth of Athens on Monday, Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Athens on Tuesday, and First Baptist Missionary Baptist Church of Courtland on Wednesday.
• Summer program. New Life Assembly in Athens is now enrolling children for its summer program, which will include field trips, games and water days for children in grades K-5. Program runs 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, May 29-Aug. 4. Cost: $35 nonrefundable registration fee; $125 per week plus one time $75 activities fee for full time; $35 per day for part time or $45 on field-trip days. • After-school program. The after-school program from 3–5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays at David’s Temple Church in Tanner accepts children ages 5–18. Homework assistants, tutoring and study hall are available. Van pickup is available to all Athens City Schools except Athens High. Children from Tanner High can ride the bus.
