• Youth revival. Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Huntsville will hold its annual youth revival 6 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at 380 Indian Creek Road. Guest evangelist is the Rev. Jeremiah Chester, pastor of St. Mark Baptist Church. Local choirs will perform the song service. Public invited. • Mother-daughter brunch. David’s Temple Church of Tanner will hold a mother-daughter brunch at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17, in the church’s Family Life Center. Instead of speaker, event will include a fashion show in which anyone can participate as a model. Models should dress like they are going to church.

• Gospel meeting. Salem Church of Christ will hold gospel meetings March 18-20 at the church at 28940 Alabama 99, Lester. Jeff Johnson will speak 9 a.m.,10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday, March 18; Eddie Smith will speak 7 p.m. Monday, March 19; and Johnny Williams will speak 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 20.

• Lunch series. St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church will host a Lenten Lunch series at noon each Wednesday through March 21 at the church on the corner of Washington and Beaty streets in Athens. Lunch is free but donations will be accepted.

• Mothers/Deacons March. Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church will hold annual Mothers and Deacons March 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 25, at 803 Westmoreland Ave., Athens. Guest speaker is the Rev. Antoyne Green, pastor of New Life Baptist Church of Athens. Song service by Sweet Home male choir.

• Gospel concert. First Independent Methodist Church will host a performance by Marvin Morrow at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 25, at 13904 Zehner Road, Athens. The event is open to the public and will include a love offering.

• Gospel meetings. Harvest Church of Christ will hold gospel meetings March 25-28 at the church at 8941 Wall Triana Highway, Harvest. Times are 9:45 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday, March 25; and 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, March 26-28. Speaker is Josh Carter.

• After-school program. The after-school program from 3–5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays at David’s Temple Church in Tanner accepts children ages 5–18. Homework assistants, tutoring and study hall are available. Van pickup is available to all Athens City Schools except Athens High. Children from Tanner High can ride the bus.
