Three teens and a juvenile are facing a litany of charges after they led Limestone County Sheriff’s deputies on a four-hour manhunt Thursday.
The incident began when investigators attempted to serve an arrest warrant at a residence in the 20000 block of Old Elkmont Road. Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Stephen Young said the warrant was issued after investigators noticed a vehicle reported stolen in the driveway of the home.

After confirming the vehicle was stolen, Young said, investigators also ran the tag of another vehicle in the driveway, a blue Buick, and found it had been reported stolen out of Huntsville.
While investigators were on the scene, Jaquavius Deshon Cosby, 19, of 20928 Old Elkmont Road, arrived and was taken into custody without incident. Young said an onlooker approached deputies and informed them several males had run from the area when they saw law enforcement arrive at the residence.
“… Interviews with several people helped investigators determine that those suspects were also associated with the stolen vehicles,” Young said.
Over the course of four hours, deputies and canine tracking teams from Limestone Correctional Facility searched for the suspects over a six-mile area. The pursuit ended east of Hays Mill Road when the suspects were found in a deer stand.
Cosby was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree theft, first-degree receiving stolen property, unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle and disorderly conduct. His bond was set at $19,000.
Spencer Allen Kelley, 18, of 11159 Morris Drive, Madison, was charged with third-degree receiving stolen property. His bond was set at $1,500.
