Woman killed in Monday crash identified

A woman who died Monday in a single-car crash in Limestone County has been identified as a Meridianville woman, troopers said.

Britney Tenecha Scott, 29, was killed at about 12:45 p.m. when the Suzuki Forenza she was driving left Holt Road and struck a tree. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
