• ATHENS — Spongebob backpack of unknown value, cellphone of unknown value, debit card of unknown value, Social Security card of unknown value and Medicaid card of unknown value stolen from a vehicle between Jan. 10 and 11, 20000 block Elkton Road
• ATHENS — Dewalt drill valued at $175, Dewalt drill bits valued at $25 and gold LG K20 cellphone valued at $60 stolen between Dec. 9 and 26, 20000 block Elkton Road
• ATHENS — Refrigerator valued at $75, VCR valued at $50, jewelry box with jewelry valued at $20, red baby stroller valued at $200, black refrigerator valued at $350, stove valued at $75, push mower valued at $300, Snapper riding lawn mower valued at $250, quilt tank valued at $100 and wooden jewelry box with jewelry valued at $1,500 stolen between Jan. 9 and 11, 19000 block Alabama 127
• ATHENS — Electric 3-D fireplace valued at $119 stolen between Jan. 9 and 10, 17000 block Dusty Road

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:
• Roger Dale Thompson, 28, of 3010 Holmes Ave. NW, Huntsville, arrest for another agency
• Gary Angelo Hall, 57, of 16609 Blackburn Road, Athens, arrest for another agency

Athens Police Department reported the following thefts or incidents Wednesday:
• Four blank checks of no value, U.S. currency of unknown value, passport for Betty Ventre of no value, Social Security card for Betty Ventre of no value, Bank of America Visa credit card of no value and western cowhide-style wallet valued at $100 stolen Jan. 12, 600 block South Jefferson Street
• Pocket knife valued at $5.99 stolen Jan. 13, 1000 block Hobbs Street East
• iPhone 5S valued at $325, U.S. currency of unknown value and Nissan Altima valued at $4,000 stolen Jan. 14, 200 block Cloverleaf Drive
• Damage valued at $100 to a door frame on Jan. 14, 200 block Cloverleaf Drive
• Miscellaneous items valued at $16.26 stolen Jan. 15, 1000 block U.S. 72 East
• 29 items of assorted merchandise valued at $1,771 stolen Jan. 14, 1000 block U.S. 72 East

• Theft of services in the form of hotel rent for one night valued at $79.40 on Jan. 15, 1400 block Thrasher Boulevard
