• Monday: No lunch; all centers closed;

• Tuesday: Orange juice, sausage patty (3), cheese grits, hot spiced apples, biscuit, whole grain bran flakes, milk;

• Wednesday: Baked ham, Delmonico potatoes, turnip greens, fresh fruit, cornbread, marble cake, milk/buttermilk;

• Thursday: Pineapple juice, zesty meatballs (3), whole grain penne/tomatoes, Italian green beans, roll, strawberry pudding, milk;

• Friday: Taco salad, corn chips, taco sauce, sour cream, orange gelatin, milk.

Art classes

Limestone County Council on Aging will begin hosting Paint/Craft Classes at each Senior Center throughout the county. Classes are open to anyone in the community who is 60 or older. If interested, call Madison Curnutt, 256-216-3897 to reserve a spot. Space is limited. Schedules are as follows:

• Athens Senior Center: Second Tuesday of each month at noon

• Good Springs Senior Center: Third Thursday of each month at 9:45 a.m.

• Owens Senior Center: Third Wednesday of each month at 9 a.m.

• East Limestone Senior Center: Fourth Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m.

• Tanner Senior Center: First Thursday of each month at 10 a.m.
